Dr. Jamie Bovay
Founder and Leading Physical Therapist
Jamie is Denver’s leading Physical Therapist who helps people in Denver quickly recover from injury so they can stay active in their favorite sport/hobby, exercising, and fully enjoying life. While he originally wanted to work with professional athletes, after working with several and over time he has figured out that the everyday adult is a lot more interesting and fun to work with.
He founded KinetikChain Denver when he wanted to create a different way to provide patient care and rehabilitation. Frustrated with the models of clinics seeing 3 or more patients an hour and PT techs or aides, who have no medical experience, doing much of the care he knew there was a better way. He started KinetikChain Denver with the idea of giving extended treatment times and one on one individual treatment with pinpointed home exercise plans designed specifically for the individual and their goals in order to receive the best results. By doing this he believes he can get to know the individual better and be the provider that everybody wants and deserves instead of just the provider they get.
Over the last half decade, Jamie has focused on recruiting the best clinicians from across the country, training them on the KinetikChain system and approach to serving our clients. Doing so has been a critical element of his multi-pronged strategy for crusading his vision of what physical therapy, rehabilitation, and optimal performance can be. These KinetikChain-trained and certified providers, in turn, can provide the same amazing results for which KinetikChain is renowned for a wider base of prospective and future clients.
Jamie focuses on hands-on care and blends other treatments in like manipulation, dry needling, kinesiotaping, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and many others to help get you back to what you want to do. Because of the personalized attention, great care, and word of mouth referrals KinetikChain Denver has evolved into the preferred provider for several gyms, teams, and clubs in the area as well as countless families and individuals. He also knows that rehabilitation doesn’t have to be all serious and it’s ok to laugh and have fun. Our thought is that smiles and laughter should be part of every interaction.
As far as Degrees go he has those as well. Jamie Graduated from Missouri State University with a BS in Chemistry for undergrad and later graduated from Rockhurst University with a doctorate in physical therapy.
Additional certifications include:
- Manual therapy certification (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)

Dr. Gary Schneider
Physical Therapist
Why do you work here?
“Working at KinetikChain allows me the time and support needed to give patients all of the treatment, information, and overall resources that they deserve when trying to overcome injury and/or return to activities. Treating pain is so much more complex than just pushing a few buttons, and treating each person in front of me as an unique individual is the best way to get people to return to their activities as fast as possible. I am not satisfied unless I am providing a service that is absolutely top notch, and KinetikChain allows me to do just that.“
Gary believes that people should intentionally spend the majority of their time doing things that they love. When people can’t run, bike, lift weights, hike, play sports, ski, or etc, it really impacts peoples’ lives, and Gary understands this on a personal level. When he is not treating patients or working out at his CrossFit gym, Gary spends as much time as he can doing outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, softball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, disc golf, and more), and when he can’t, his mood changes (just ask his fiance). For this reason, he has a strong passion for helping others continue their activities as best they can. And this is why he has spent so much time and effort advancing his clinical expertise by studying for and passing the rigorous exam required to be a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, as well as taking the multiple courses required to be Manual Therapy Certified. He has also learned advanced skills like dry needling and joint manipulation techniques, and has extensive education specific to treating fitness athletes (CrossFitters, weight lifters, endurance athletes). With this advanced skill set, he excels in helping Coloradans return to and keep participating in their activity of choice.
Gary is originally from Texas, went to the University of Texas at Austin where he earned his Bachelor of Science, then transitioned to Texas State University for his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. After spending a few years in Charlotte, North Carolina, he and his fiance transitioned to Denver as the natural fit for the desired active outdoor lifestyle they love. Gary thrives each day to improve the lives of those around him, in the clinic and out!
Additional Certifications:

Physical Therapist
Why Do You Work Here?
“KinetikChain fosters an environment of excellence in which I can take the time to understand each person’s story, finding out what matters most in my patient’s life, so that I can provide treatment options and information, and then work efficiently and effectively to get them back to what they love.
I’ve felt the disappointment of not being able to compete in CrossFit competitions due to injuries or pushing through pain just to play recreational sports and paying for it afterwards, frustrated and uncomfortable. More than that, I also understand the feeling of not knowing what to do or when to address aches and pains; I work to help people better understand their condition, healing processes, and movement patterns, so that they can make more informed decisions for their health and help them get back to what they love to do.”

Dr. Andrew Nassayan
Physical Therapist
Why Do You Work Here?
“I’ve realized that traditional physical therapy models often fall short due to time constraints and cookie cutter approaches. The way I see it is high quality physical therapy is not one-size-fits-all and requires one-on-one time, attention, and individualization. KinetikChain allows me to treat the way patient’s deserve”
A college baseball injury forced Andrew to lose the ability to run, jump, and even stand without pain creating a significant barrier to enjoying the hobbies and sports he loved. Through many trials and errors of finding a solution he eventually found a physical therapist that helped identify the root cause of his problem. This sparked an interest in helping people with similar issues and struggles that has led to Andrew being one of the most sought-after physical therapists on the east coast. However, the mountains were calling and a desire to live an even more active lifestyle brought Andrew to Denver.
He has a special interest in foot and ankle pathology and especially enjoys working with weightlifters, runners, and rotational athletes to optimize their function, performance, and overall quality of life. In his spare time Andrew enjoys hiking, playing basketball, coaching Little League, and living an active life with his fiancé.
Andrew is originally from New York and received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in. He later attended Touro College School of Health Sciences where he received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and later a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Tesla Trimble

Tesla is a very proud Coloradan born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. Ever since she was in high school she knew Denver was where she was meant to be, so after graduating high school in 2010 she moved north to study massage therapy at The Massage therapy Institute of Colorado!
It has now been 11 years since her massage journey started; within that time, Tesla has worked in many different settings to advance particular skill sets such as chiropractic and physical therapy offices, as well as massage studios and spas.
Therapeutic massage and deep tissue massage is where she has found her niche. She finds it very gratifying to help people feel and move better in their bodies. She enjoys going above and beyond for her clients by not only giving a great massage, but also giving advice on stretching and exercises for strength, posture, mobility, etc. Ultimately Tesla’s goal is to help people connect with their bodies on a deeper level through receiving massage and being aware of what they feel inside and out.
Tesla believes this awareness helps us move more gracefully through life, have better interactions with others and be more proactive in our own health and healing. As a massage therapist she loves being a catalyst and educator for your healing and loves helping every individual find whatever means necessary to live in their body more comfortably! When Tesla is not busy chipping away at tight muscles, she enjoys spending time being active with her Golden Retriever (Asher), Paddle boarding, practicing aerial arts, snowboarding, cooking, learning all new things, the list is never ending!

Sam Herrendorf
Fascial Stretch Therapist (Level 1-3)
“KinetikChain has provided me with an opportunity to customize my craft into a patient’s needs. It is amazing to be a part of a system of people that can bounce ideas off of one another to give someone their ideal plan of care. I get to help folks and learn from them, as well as learn from my peers. To be able to work on unique people with their own physical pursuits, interests, habits, and ways to enjoy the world – makes me feel more well-rounded, fulfilled, and interconnected.”
Sam took his training in fascial stretch therapy and has been adapting how he treats people with the more knowledge he collects. He can help you move away from sticky patterns, pains, and biomechanic struggles with his manual therapy. Connecting the breath to movement is a very powerful tool that he can help you to utilize. A lot of pain is caused by the brain, but Sam can get you to feel comfortable in a range of motion that you have under-utilized or not gone through.
Sam has a love for movement, specifically yoga. It is coupled with a need to explore the natural world. He struggled with back pain for most of his life, and after his worst injury in 2018, he decided to take matters into his own hands. He became a certified yoga instructor, certified in personal training, did all 3 levels of fascial stretch therapy certifications, and teaches “foundation training”. He believes that small or large traumas can cause us to deviate from normal movement patterning. He would love to get the chance to help guide you to moving and being everything you want to be.
Certifications:
- Fascial Stretch Therapist (Level 1-3)
- Yoga Teacher
- Foundation Training
- Certified Personal Trainer

Why Do You Work Here?
“Working here is like a breath of fresh air in the polluted medical/insurance world. Growing up I was always in and out of hospitals and doctors’ offices. My mother was sickly and no one knew what was wrong for a long time. My mother was eventually diagnosed with a very rare lung disease. This is where I got an insider’s glimpse into the world of our current medical system and insurance.
Our insurance dominated what my mother was and wasn’t allowed for treatment. We couldn’t get the care that she desperately needed because we didn’t have the “right” insurance (whatever that means) and because of her condition no other insurance company would cover her. This forced her to take experimental drugs and she was treated like a lab rat. We eventually lost her, but this gave me insight as to who really controls the medical field. Don’t get me wrong, we did come across some really great doctors who truly cared about their patients, but their hands were tied when it came to actual treatment. I believe that healthcare should be held to a higher standard and should treat people like individuals (not just another number), and shouldn’t be held back by what insurance coverage they have (if any). This is why I work at KinetikChain Denver. I enjoy being part of a team that shares the same core values that I do. We believe that physical therapy is a natural/non-invasive way to help people get out of pain, reach physical goals, and stay away from unnecessary surgeries and medication. Above all, we do not let anyone (insurance companies, hospitals, some guy sitting at a desk 1,000 miles away, etc.) dictate how we treat our patients. We are passionate about giving each individual the care that they need, and I am privileged to be a part of this great team!!”
Crystal Turner is the first friendly voice you hear when you call and the first face you see when you walk into our clinic. She is the first person who helps to guide guide you through our process in order to achieve the quickest recovery possible so you can stay active and live the life you deserve.
Crystal has a thick background helping people make difficult decisions. While getting her degree in Business Management and Hospitality and Tourism in Charleston SC she always knew she had to find a career where she could use her outgoing personality and internal desire to help people. Crystal started in the restaurant industry where she moved up the ladder very quickly and while this satisfied her desire to make people happy temporarily, it wasn’t the perfect long-term career for her. When she decided to move in a different direction she knew that she still had that urge to help people, but wasn’t sure how she could use her skills to do that… Until she found the KinetikChain Denver.
Now, Crystal is our top client experience chauffeur. She uses her skills to listen to your needs and make your journey to a better, healthy, pain-free life as simple and easy as possible. She works hand in hand with our physical therapists to ensure our patients have the best care and plan in place to ensure a speedy recovery. Crystal is passionate about making visits that fit into our clients busy schedules and to make the overall experience as wonderful as possible. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends, yoga, hiking, traveling, and exploring CO. She loves to see people smile, and that is her goal with every visit. — However–old habits die hard– she still loves serving people, so she will still offer to make you a cup of coffee or tea when you come into our facility. She can’t help herself!

Why Do You Work Here?
“I work here because it really does feel like family and a second home and in healthcare that just doesn’t happen often”.
I have worked in healthcare for 30 years, mostly in the hospital setting and medical offices. In all those years, I’ve had a few jobs I’d never want to do again. With that said, I’ve come to realize those jobs were lacking in having a happy environment to work in!
My husband works in healthcare as well and his career has taken us on an adventure that has lasted 10 years! We have lived in Washington D.C., New York, Denver and Cincinnati. I have loved the experiences we’ve had in each city. Colorado is good for my gypsie soul and my husband and I love to travel. We recently had the opportunity to move back to Cincinnati to live near my huge family, friends and 3 grandkids who I take on hikes. I started working with Kinetikchain Denver in 2021 and I love what I do here at Kinetikchain! I am more of the “behind the scenes” type of employee. I am always available to help our clients with any needs or questions. Working with Kinetikchain Denver has made me become more active, feeling stronger than I’ve felt in years. Because of my gradual lifestyle change, I now teach water aerobics and I can say I have two gigs I totally enjoy!
