A Message From Jamie Bovay, Owner & Founder of KinetikChain Physical Therapy

Hi, My name is Jamie Bovay and welcome to KinetikChain Denver.

If you’re suffering from annoying and painful running injuries, – it’s very easy to think that it’s a bit of “wear and tear”, or that it’s nothing and it’ll go away on its own.

You may have tried stretching, resting, yoga, massage, heat, ice, maybe even just pushing through it – but it doesn’t seem to be getting any better!

If that’s happening to you, you’re not alone – we hear this type of thing all the time.

In fact, running related injuries are one of THE most common problems that we see in our Physical Therapy Clinic in Cherry Creek

And when it comes to struggling with running, everybody we see wants to know the answers to these questions:

“What’s causing this?”
Or
“Why am I still suffering with this after putting up with it for so long and why isn’t it getting better?”…
Or
“Can I still Run, Hike, or workout?”

Most people think that when they start getting annoying running pain it’ll eventually go away on it’s own. The fact that you are reading this tells me that didn’t happen.  You have likely tried several methods to get rid of the pain, but then before you know it 6 months went by and you’re still struggling with your running – often it’s even worse than it was when it first came on.

Does That Sound Like You?

Another scenario we see all the time in our physical therapy clinic is when people go to their Doctors, and the Doctor tells them to “rest and try these painkillers” and “come back in 6 weeks if it’s not any better”.  The crazy thing is that when they go back 6 weeks later after that advice didn’t work and looking for new advice they are prescribed even MORE REST and MORE PILLS, and maybe they get a knee brace that likely doesn’t do much. This approach is so frustrating and not only explains the opioid epidemic, but explains why so many people are still suffering from chronic pain and avoiding running instead of getting back to doing what they love to do.

Has That Ever Happened To You?

You have likely heard different advice by many different people who are all trying to help.  The problem is their advice isn’t working and many times the advice is conflicting with everything else you are reading or hearing.  Maybe you think you have to rest because you think you may be doing real damage, or that you should be doing ‘this exercise’ and ‘that exercise’ to make it better.

It’s very confusing to know exactly what to do – and sometimes that’s just to prevent it from getting worse!

Because of this confusion it’s not uncommon that people put off trying to find a real solution. Worse, many times they may hear incorrect advice, like running gives you arthritis and that pain is just “a normal part aging” as if it “has” to be that way, which either frustrates them or gets them down thinking their best days are behind them.

Is This How You Feel Too?

You may think that your only options are massage, yoga, foam rolling, stretching, exercises from youtube, or changing your exercise to a more gentle approach.  Many of these feel good for a short amount of time only for the pain to return at a later point. That is because they are not getting to the root cause of the problem.  This is kind of like duct taping a loose sole on your shoe. It may work a little bit, but it isn’t fixing the main problem.

In the next few minutes you are going to discover how active adults in Denver can get back to running and exercising, enjoying the outdoors, releasing that stress from a rough work week with a great run, and getting on track to setting PR’s left and right.

At this point you may thing avoiding or altering your running is just something you have to live with.. But secretly you know you would rather feel a nice breeze on a warm day while running or maybe you would rather leave your competitors in the dust as you cross the finish line.

We’ve put together this Free Report showing you the 7 Tips We give Colorado’s Top Runners to Reduce Running Pain.

Click Above then just enter your first name, your email address and click the “Yes! I Want The Free Report” button below and you’ll instantly receive the Free Report by email.

You’ll receive all the information that shows you how you can get back to running easily without rest, avoiding running, pills, injections, or surgery.

I work with people in their 30’s through 50’s just like you to find relief from sudden and chronic knee pain. What I can tell you is that yoga, massage, basic exercises, foam rolling, rest, and changing your exercise patterns are not likely to help. Why? These general treatments are only addressing part of the problem.

Similar to when we gave the example of using duct tape to fasten a loose sole to your shoe it may help temporarily, but much more needs to be addressed or it may get worse. You need a plan that addresses your issues in your joints, muscles, fascia (skin and connective tissue), nerves, how you run, your pain, how you move independently of running, how to help your stiffness and movement limitations, considers work and exercise modifications, makes you an active participant by giving you specific techniques you can do on your own to improve how you move, and addresses Your challenges to getting back to Your goals.

I know so many people who have just accepted that they can no longer run. Life can be frustrating when you can’t run, enjoy your alone time, and break a sweat to get healthy.

This does NOT have to be you!

My Free Report will explain why you should have hope that you can live an active lifestyle and running the way you want and deserve.

Inside you will find out ways to determine if you can continue to run without worrying about injury, figure out the best ways to reduce your pain, and how to get back to pain free running and prevent future injury so you never have to take time off of running again.

This Report is perfect for those who want to get back to living the live they deserve without avoiding running, exercise, workouts, or their favorite hobbies.

If pain is keeping you from running, working out, hiking, or enjoying being active with your family, then you need to take a few minutes to read this report.

This report is NOT for you if you’re content to live with taking time off from running or your favorite activities, if you are happy with taking painkillers, injections, and surgeries, or if you don’t really care about fixing the MAIN problem.

What would your life look like in a few months if you were free from annoying pain and stiffness allowing you to run anywhere, anytime, the way you want.

So go ahead… enter your first name, your email address and click “Yes! I Want My Free Report” button to instantly receive the Free Report by email. There’s no catch…I’m doing this because I started my clinic to help runners just like you. I’m an active individual who enjoys being in the mountains almost every weekend and running 4-5 days a week and I can only imagine how miserable I would be if I couldn’t do what I loved to do because of frustrating pain and stiffness.

I think this information will help you get back to doing what you want and love to do and I’d be thrilled to be able to be the person to give you the information that helps. All you have to do is enter your information and I’ll send it to you immediately.

Wishing You the Best,

“I couldn’t have had a better experience working with Jamie. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable in his space, but he’s a pleasure to work with. I recall walking into our first session in severe pain, and walking out not only feeling better but laughing and smiling. He’s a fantastic therapist who’s skilled in his trade and understands how to make his patients feel heard and understand their path to recovery. I never left a session without a full understanding of what steps we were taking together (between therapy and my solo work) to remedy my issues. I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone struggling with chronic or sports-injury related pain.”
